Livermore real estate is located in Alameda County. The city has been formerly known as Livermores, Livermore Ranch and Nottingham. Livermore is the easternmost city in the Bay Area before entering the Central Valley. With a population of 80,968, this city is considered the third wealthiest midsize city in the nation. The city is easily accessed with the primary freeway being Interstate 580. In addition, residents of Livermore real estate as well as visitors are lined to Brentwood, California and the Sacramento-San Joaquin River area by Vasco Road. Highway 84 leads southwest from I-580 to Fremont.
The districts of Livermore include Springtown, which is northeast of the city. This area was originally considered as a retirement community and today contains a public golf course and many hotels. The Central district of the city includes a community theater and two movie theater as well as space for open air concerts. The South district of the city has more than 40 wineries.
